This comic is an independent student project I took on for the 5 weeks of winter-session and continued as a personal project during spring semester, 2024. My goal in this project was to make a comic that spliced together three different fairytales that shared a narrative structure into one piece. I chose stories from three different countries, Afghanistan, Romanian, and a specific translation of a Russian fairytale from Bashkortostan, respectively.  I wanted the stories be recognizable as separate sections with different clothes, environments and characters but still be united in the overarching structure.
